The Hawai’i Psychological Association (HPA) and the American Psychological Association (APA) have established the Psychologically Healthy Workplace Awards. The goal of this statewide recognition program is to promote the importance of psychological health in the workplace.

Award Criteria:

Healthy workplaces are fostered from intentional cultivation of culture built on leadership and consistent demonstration of best practices. The Hawaii Psychological Association believes in recognizing psychologically healthy workplaces to:

1. Promote increased awareness of organizational goals
2. Share best practices, and
3. Create opportunities for community learning.

Awards are made in each of five categories:
  • Small Business (< 250 employees)
  • Medium Business (250 – 999 employees)
  • Large Business (1000+ employees)
  • Government/Military or Educational Institution
  • Non-profit Organization
